Land Acknowledgment
I would like to acknowledge and share my gratitude for the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Mississaugas. This land is covered by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, which is an agreement between the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabek to share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. I stand in solidarity with murdered and missing Indigenous women, girls, transgender and two-spirit people. I recognize that land acknowledgements aren't enough, I aim to always be learning how to better support Indigenous communities. I am in solidarity with the project of decolonization.
